Insta Auto Solutions is aware of recent online claims regarding our business, our staff, and our long-time security dog, Joel.
We want to be transparent with our community — these claims are inaccurate and have caused unnecessary concern among our customers and employees.
This statement is intended to clarify verified facts and reaffirm our ongoing compliance with Alberta animal welfare and business standards.
Joel’s Health, Care, and Safety
Joel has been part of the Insta Auto Solutions family for many years as a trained working dog.
His health, safety, and living conditions are monitored daily by trained staff and verified through regular veterinary checkups and independent inspections.
Joel’s care includes a heated indoor kennel, outdoor exercise area, fresh water, nutritious food, and daily interaction.
Independent professionals have confirmed that Joel is healthy, well cared for, and appropriately housed.
Official Agency Findings
We confirm that a Peace Officer with the Alberta SPCA attended our St. Albert location on Friday, October 10th, at approximately 10:45 a.m.
Following her inspection, the Peace Officer confirmed that Joel’s living conditions and health do not contravene Section 2.1 of the Alberta Animal Protection Act.
As noted in their report:
“Joel is housed in a large run covered by a tarp, includes a doghouse for shelter, sleeps inside a large heated shop, is walked multiple times daily, and has continuous access to food and clean water.”
In addition, both the RCMP and the St. Albert Fire Department responded to public requests to inspect Joel’s environment.
Both agencies concluded there were no concerns regarding Joel’s care or living conditions.
These findings confirm that Insta Auto Solutions is fully compliant with Alberta’s Animal Protection Act, and that Joel’s welfare meets all professional standards.
Joel’s Transition and Rehoming
In keeping with our commitment to Joel’s well-being, we are pleased to confirm that Joel has now been rehomed with a qualified and caring owner.
His new home was chosen carefully to match his training, temperament, and safety needs.
We are confident that Joel’s new home provides the best possible environment for his continued health and happiness.

Addressing Online Misinformation
Unfortunately, a small number of online posts have spread misleading information and coordinated negative reviews.
Some of these posts included false statements and personal attacks toward our team.
We have reported these incidents to the appropriate authorities and continue to cooperate fully to protect our staff and our business reputation.
